Student Conduct is dedicated to ensuring that everyone who is part of, or affected by, the conduct process has access to information and resources to guide their experience. We also provide a convenient way to check the conduct status of student organizations.

Get Informed

We encourage all students to read the complete Code of Student Conduct (PDF), so they know what’s expected of them at NIU. We also provide information for families whose students are part of the conduct process, as well as resources for complainants/victims of incidents.

A student accused of a violation can have an advisor guide them through the process. Attorneys serving as advisors will find helpful information in our attorney guide.
