Spirit Dress is Beach Wear! We might be in the Midwest, but dress for the beach! (keep your attire family-friendly)

4-6 p.m. Dinner break, load truck; include drumline stands. Move to stadium. Meals on your own!
6-9 p.m.
  • Stadium rehearsal. Full ensemble at Huskie Stadium.
  • Distribute dots for halftime, start learning halftime drill
  • Fripperies after rehearsal
  • Equipment truck: set schedule with driver and GA’s. Truck stays at the stadium overnight
  • Distribute Northern Pact shirts
  • Note: some students attend honors retreat

Friday, Aug. 25 (Day 8)

Dress code, summer uniform:
  • Black shorts (you must provide)
  • New "Northern Pact" t-shirt (will be provided for you)

  • 8:30 a.m. unload truck
  • 9 a.m. warm up at Huskie Stadium
  • 9:15 a.m. pre-show performance of rock tunes
  • 9:45 a.m. breakfast provided, while event starts inside stadium
  • 10:15 a.m. set parade block
  • 10:20 a.m. enter stadium, play Fight Song
  • 10:40 a.m. exit stadium, lead students to Holmes Student Center
  • 11 a.m. event ends; take drums and tubas to Music Building, 155 and move truck to Music Building

Saturday, Aug. 26 (Day 9)

Full ensemble performance at volleyball game vs. University of Illinois at the Convocation Center.  Details TBA. Probable performance time is 2:30 p.m., call time prior to that. 

Sunday, Aug. 27

Music majors and minors: Large Ensemble auditions, held in the afternoon and evening! Find more info under “ensembles” tab on music website to find music and reserve an audition slot.

Monday, August 28

Semester begins! Colorguard, Silverettes and drumline, check with your coaches for normal rehearsal times and locations. Winds and brass will meet at grassy knoll or 155, based on the weather, at 4 p.m. Percussion are typically inside with Bret at the same time.
