Blackboard has recently released an integration with Microsoft Teams that allows you to quickly create Teams Meetings from within Blackboard.
To schedule a Microsoft Teams session:
Once the link is created, you can click Add to Calendar to add the meeting to your course calendar and create a link in the first Content Area in your course menu (you can click the drop down arrow next to the link and click Move to move the link to a more convenient location once it has been created). The link will have Adaptive Release enabled, so students will not see the link until 1 hour before it is scheduled to begin.
To schedule a Microsoft Teams session:
Once the link is created, you can click Add to Calendar to add the meeting to your course calendar and create a link at the top of your course content (you can use drag and drop to move the link to a more convenient location once it has been created).
If you are using the Chrome browser and you click the link immediately after creating it, you will receive an error that the session could not be launched. Your session was created, however, and you can access it by copying and pasting the link or using the link that you created in your course by clicking the Add to Calendar button. This error only occurs if you click the link immediately after creating it.
If you record your Meeting, the recording will be placed in your OneDrive storage, in the Recordings folder. You will need to manually retrieve the link to the recording from OneDrive and then post it in your Blackboard course.
