Open to all. In honor of all the achievements and efforts of our Graduating Asian American, Pacific Islanders, DESI, Asian international students and all individuals who identify with and/or support this community at Northern Illinois University.

This pre-commencement event recognizes graduates who have completed an undergraduate or graduate degree. This ceremony is free to students and guests. If you wish to be recognized as a graduate, you must register by Sunday, March 31, 11:59 p.m. We ask that general guests also register.

Once you have applied for graduation, you can register to attend the Asian American Resource Center's Graduation Recognition Celebration. Upon registration of the event, you will receive auto-confirmation.

Check-in

Please check in at the AARC registration table at the event on May 5. Doors open at noon and the program will start promptly at 1 p.m. We ask that you be seated in designated areas by then.
