Begin your education at a local community college and finish your bachelor’s degree at locations near you. Take classes at night, on weekends and online.

The 2 + 2 Pathway

Earn your AA or AS degree then continue with NIU. You just need 60 hours at NIU to complete either of these degrees!

Certificate Options

Gain a competitive advantage by earning a certificate – as a stand-alone credential or as part of a bachelor’s degree completion program.

The 3 + 1 Pathway

Earn an AAS degree and complete your NIU general education courses at your local community college. You’ll only need about 24-48 more credit hours with NIU to complete one of the following degrees:
