The Veteran's Assistance Office is dedicated to assisting veterans to take full advantage of their educational benefits. The Veteran's Assistance Office assists students with the processing of forms for educational benefits, advising student veterans concerning certain procedural requirements, and certifying enrollment of student veterans for federal and state benefits.

Whether the student is a veteran who has completed his/her service, a student who put education on hold to serve and is now returning to school, or a student who is transferring to NIU, our office is here to help provide the resources you need to give you a world-class experience at Northern Illinois University.
