Matt Poulos

Matt Poulos (instructor, counselor) is studying for his master’s degree in trombone performance at NIU, after receiving his bachelor’s degree in music from Principia College. He is a member of the NIU Jazz Ensemble, the NIU Philharmonic and the NIU Graduate Brass Quintet. He studies  trombone with Jeremy Moeller (classical) and Tom Garling (jazz). He is teaches a course at NIU on music appreciation with a focus on jazz. He taught private trombone lessons at the 2012 NIU Jazz Camp.
