The Kish is an amazing river, from its humble beginnings in Woodstock IL, to its end where it feeds into the mighty Rock River. It provides a lot of recreation for community members of DeKalb from fishing to canoeing. The Kishwaukee River is also home to 28 endangered, threatened or watch-listed species. A river this important to the area deserves some love. After the cleanup enjoy a free BBQ at the East Lagoon. Please join us on National Public Lands Day Sept. 27 to help clean the trash out of this amazing river.
