For over 25 years, Outdoor Adventures (OA) has been providing outdoor experiences to the Northern Illinois University community which includes students, faculty, staff, and the general public.

The vision of OA is to promote active and healthy lifestyles by providing equipment and leadership services for participants interested in outdoor activities.

The mission of OA is to provide members of the community with high-quality opportunities to participate in positive and educational outdoor activities.

We believe the outdoors has something to offer to everyone. We welcome you to visit our rental center, peruse our resources, and get involved.
