Unlike other degree programs that are structured, the B.G.S. offers you the flexibility to select courses across the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences to complete your degree.

An Associate of Arts or an Associate of Science degree from any public community college provides an excellent foundation for degree completion and meets NIU’s general education requirements.
