M.S. in Industrial Management and Technology

About the Program

Great news - you don't need an undergraduate degree in engineering to get your master's degree in industrial management and technology. Our online program offers graduate-level management and supervisory courses as an alternative to an MBA. You'll learn about managing systems, problems and people, and gain an understanding of the impact and application of engineering technology on a local and global scale. You'll also improve your communication skills and learn to lead interdisciplinary teams.

Program Mode of Delivery

The coursework is 100% online and also offered as an on-campus face-to-face M.S. program.

Curriculum

The program has two phases. The first is a set of required courses that cover topics such as risk management, project management and research. The second phase consists of technical systems management electives. Your advisor will work with you to develop a custom plan of electives that meets your professional objectives.

Information about specific course requirements can be found in the NIU course catalog.
