If you have a bachelor's degree, you can earn a Certificate of Graduate Study in Public Health. This certificate is ideal for you if you're in a field such as statistics, nursing, nutrition or public administration. Students seeking degrees in fields such as geography, business, nutrition and nursing, as well as students pursuing their Ph.D. in health sciences, often pursue this certificate in order to add a public health emphasis to their studies.

  • PHHE 601 - Introduction to Health Systems
  • PHHE 603 - Behavioral and Social Aspects of Public Health
  • PHHE 605 - Biostatistics in Public Health
  • PHHE 613 - Principles and Methods of Epidemiology (PHHE 605 is a prerequisite for this course.)
  • A public health elective
