Gait, balance, coordination, and physical activity analysis in children with ASD

About the Study

The focus of our research is to better understand the gross motor skills and physical activity in children with typical and atypical development. Our ultimate goal is to investigate the impact of balance, coordination and gait and optimize interventions for these children. We invite you to explore our website to find out more about our lab at NIU, who we are and how you can get involved.

The purpose of this study is to gain an understanding of the collaborative nature of research about ASD across disciplines while also analyzing the gait, balance, coordination and physical activity of children with autism spectrum disorder.

You may be eligible for this study if your child is between the ages of 3-12.
