Employment Outcomes

American Bar Association Employment Summary

* Posted per American Bar Association requirements: Information on employment outcomes for the Class of 2020 may not reflect a particular law school’s typical results in this area. As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, bar admission exams were canceled or delayed in many jurisdictions, thus making it more challenging for graduates to secure employment by the annual Graduate Employment Status Date of March 15. Please reference the 3 years of employment outcome data posted on the ABA Required Disclosures webpage of each ABA-Approved Law School or at www.abarequireddisclosures.org.

NIU College of Law NALP Summary Employment Report*

* These documents are prepared by the National Association for Law Placement. Please note that disclosure of an individual's salary is voluntary and many graduates choose, for privacy reasons, to decline to participate in that part of the survey. In order to avoid inadvertent disclosure of individualized information, a minimum of five salaries is required for salary analysis in a category. Categories with less than five salaries reported are indicated with an asterisk. Categories that do not include any graduates are not shown.
