Almost every department on campus has opportunities for students to work on campus. These part-time opportunities play a fundamental role in assisting Northern Illinois University with its administrative and academic work. Student Employment positions are available for On-Campus Student Jobs, Internships and Graduate Assistantships regardless of their financial aid status. Supervising a student employee is one of the most rewarding experiences.

Required Hiring Documents

It is important that all required documents are completed and sent to the Student Employment Office by the paperwork deadline to ensure the student employee is paid. These deadlines are posted on the Payroll Calendar.

NOTE: failure to submit completed paperwork by the posted payroll deadline will result in the Student Employee being paid late.
