Welcome to the Human Auditory Physiology Lab (HAPL)!

The HAPL combines laboratory-based research and community outreach to explore interactions between the brain and the auditory system. The lab is actively researching how brain or hearing injuries, such as those caused by concussions, affect a person’s ability to remember auditory information. The lab also works to raise awareness about concussions by serving as a knowledge base for coaches, parents, athletes, trainers, etc. to ask questions and learn about concussions and their impact.
