Natalie is currently a M.A. student in Linguistics/Rhetoric. She is also pursuing a Women's Studies Graduate Certificate. Previously, she was a graduate instructor for ENGL 103 and ENGL104, and she tutored in NIU's ESL Center. She is involved in the Women's and Gender Studies Graduate Student Association, English Graduate Student Association, Linguistic Society of America, and the Linguistic Society of DeKalb. Her interests include human rights and rhetoric of social justice. As a member of Amnesty International, Natalie has taken part in numerous write-a-thons, campaigns, and protests to speak out against human rights violations. Natalie is excited to be working with students and faculty in the Women's Studies Program. She is dedicated to social justice and human rights, and hopes to learn more about other's perspectives on these issues to gain a more diverse and comprehensive understanding.
