Choosing a Program

There are hundreds of study-abroad programs to choose from, so trying to choose the best one for you can be intimidating. The best way to choose is to visit the Study Abroad Office and talk to a Program Coordinator, who can point you in the right direction. To research programs on your own, please follow the side navigation on this web site.

When you are choosing a program, you should consider the following:

  • Location - Continent, country, city
  • Duration - Two weeks to a full academic year
  • Courses available - In your major, distributive studies, electives
  • Language level - Beginner, intermediate, advanced
  • Group or independent travel
  • Housing - Dorm, apartment or home stay
