GA Interview Day welcomes graduate students who are currently enrolled in the CAHE program and are seeking an assistantship in the Division of Student Affairs & Enrollment Management (SAEM), as well as current Graduate Assistants in SAEM who are seeking a different assistantship in SAEM for the 2015-16 academic year.

Dates for GSARP Weekend 2015 are March 13 & 14

Registration for GSARP Weekend is free.  Once registered for GSARP Weekend, candidates can request interviews via the Huskies Get Hired system, housed in Career Services.  All candidates will be required to complete the Huskies Get Hired tutorial, which may be done at any time prior to registration.

GSARP Weekend candidates who are currently enrolled at NIU for the 2015-16 academic year

Candidates who are currently students at NIU should register for GSARP Weekend, then use their ZIDs as their usernames in the Huskies Get Hired system.   (Click “Forgot your password?” to receive a password for the first time.)  Candidates who are current NIU students may proceed to the Huskies Get Hired tutorial and then login and begin requesting interviews once the tutorial has been completed.

GSARP Weekend candidates who are not currently enrolled at NIU

Candidates who are not currently students at NIU will complete a short registration application.  Completing the application will prompt the GSARP staff to create a username and password for the applicant.  Usernames and passwords will be generated within one business day of submission, while the university is open.  An e-mail confirmation will be sent with the username, password, and further instructions for the next steps to request interviews through Huskies Get Hired.

Registration for all candidates who have a username and password and have completed the Huskies Get Hired tutorial

When registering in the Huskies Get Hired system, candidates will be asked to create a profile, which includes uploading a resume, cover letter, and references prior to applying for positions.  Candidates will also be asked to upload their resumes to the GSARP/GA Day Resume Book, which will allow Student Affairs & Enrollment Management employers to search for candidates and review their resumes.

In the Academic section of the candidate profile, candidates will select “GSARP/GA Day Interviewing” as their Major/Concentration.  This will allow candidates to search and apply for Student Affairs & Enrollment Management jobs.  (All SAEM positions will begin with “GSARP” followed by the position title.)
