Students from around the world participate in our summer residential camps, and we are increasing our presence across both the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. Our hands-on, highly interactive and engaging pedagogy is in demand, and we are happy to share what we know with students and educators across the globe.

NIU's First STEM Teacher in China
NIU STEM Outreach has a growing relationship with several schools in China. The 2015-2016 school year marks our inaugural program with an NIU STEM Outreach teacher placed at the Beijing Academy for the entire school year working with sixth and seventh grade students. NIU STEM Outreach presents Professional Development for 63 Principals from Beijing and Inner Mongolia
Pati Sievert and Jeremy Benson are spending two weeks in Beijing working with elementary school principals and curriculum directors on engaging students with STEM and encouraging critical and creative thinking.
