Courses

Introduction to LEGO EV3 Robotics (Recommended ages 10 & up)

We’ll use LEGO EV3 robots to complete a series of training missions that familiarize students with the robots’ operations, capabilities, and programming environment.  Students who want to take the LEGO EV3 Space Challenge should attend this class unless they have experience with these kits.

DeKalb Campus- September 13, 1:00-4:00 PM

Join the Maker Movement with Arduino! (Recommended ages 13 & up)

Arduinos are tiny computers you can program to control everything from flashing lights to satellites. Learn the basics of circuits, functions, and variables, and then control motors and sensors and plot data and graphs. You’ll even get to create an Arduino-powered gizmo! You can choose to take your two-session course in DeKalb or Naperville.
