Monday, August 11, 7:30-10:30 p.m.

Kuipers Family Farm, 1N318 Watson Rd, Maple Park, IL 60151

Rain or shine, join us for a spectacular evening of star gazing. The annual Perseid meteor shower, which peaks in mid-August, will radiate from the Perseus constellation and appear throughout the sky. Experts include NIU Davis Observatory Manager Daniel Stange, Dr. David Hedin, and Dr. Sheldon Turner. Guests will have an opportunity to use NIU's telescopes or bring their own to watch the meteor shower. Please note the delayed start time, in order to take full advantage of the summer night sky.
