Preparing K-12 Students with 21st Century Skills

Students equipped with 21st century skills are more creative, innovative, globally aware, and skilled problem solvers. New technology and media help them research, produce, and communicate ideas. SmartSpace@NIU promotes the development of life and career skills. The 21st Century Skills project includes videos that demonstrate examples of how students attain these skills in the classroom. We also have resources to help families continue building these skills at home. Together, we can help our students maximize their potential.
