Leadership roles: Captain of Rube Goldberg Team (High School) and Scholastic Bowl Captain (High School)

I am involved in: Robotics Club, Research Rookies, high school Baseball, Golf (senior year of high school), high school Scholastic Bowl, Rube Goldberg (high school), high school Math Team, National Honors Society (last 2 years of high school), and high school Soccer.

Scholarships I have received include University Scholar, the Wilmington Foundation for Excellence, and the Exelon Nuclear Scholarship.

An academic goal: Graduate NIU with my Masters and Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and then pursue a doctorate somewhere.

Career goal: Become a successful Engineer for a big time engineering firm. Maybe even design the next product that changes the world.

How will Research Rookies help you further your academic and career goals?: Research Rookies will give me the stepping stone I need to start my career and get ahead of the competition by letting me get firsthand experience in my field before the rest.

In my free time I like to play basketball, baseball, hang out with friends, eat, play video games, watch movies, and sleep sleep sleep.
