I am involved in: Powerlifting club, Hall Council, Research Rookies Program, Themed Learning Community program, National Society of Black Engineers

Scholarships I have received include the Transfer Residential Scholarship and the One Million Degrees Scholarship.

An academic goal: To successful graduate with honors, have an internship and complete a research project prior to graduation. 
Career goal: To become a biomedical engineer and an engineer manager. 

How will Research Rookies help you further your academic and career goals?: Research Rookies will help me learn the research process, acquaint me with professors and give me the experience of working in my field of interest. 

In my free time I like watching sports, watching movies/TV, working out, taking walks, and reading.
