Overview of Scholarly Activity

Shweta Moorthy (Ph.D. University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign) is an assistant professor of political science. She specializes in International Politics. Her teaching and research interests are in the fields of international conflicts, conflict management and South Asian security issues. Her doctoral work focuses on third party intervention in ongoing international conflicts. In summer 2011, she was a Visiting Research Scholar at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KUL), Belgium. She has also conducted policy research on nuclear proliferation issues as a Junior Research Fellow at the India chapter of the Pugwash Conference.
