- Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
You should fill out your FAFSA form every year you are a student. Never assume you will not qualify for financial assistance. There are many types of financial aid available to help manage the cost of your education, such as grants, loans, and scholarships.
- Huskie Installment Plan (HIP)
Through HIP, instead of making a lump sum payment at the beginning of each term, you can spread your NIU semester expenses over four equal monthly payments.
- Tuition Reimbursement
Some employers offer tuition reimbursement for college classes. Check availability of tuition reimbursement with the human resources department of your employer.
