NIU Remembers: A Day of Reflection
Our "Forward Together Forward" website commemorates the lives of the five students who were tragically taken from us on Feb. 14, 2008, and provides information on the university's annual observance of that day.
The University Archives has created a website to show the support given to the NIU community during our time of grief.

Universities, groups and organizations from across the country shared condolences, thoughts and prayers. Individuals can also post their regards.
Counseling and Support Services
The Office of Support and Advocacy provides individual, couples, family and group counseling services. Services are private and confidential
The NIU Memorial Center is currently located in Altgeld Hall room 125. This memorial room will be in place until a more permanent on campus memorial is developed.
Several scholarships and individual endowments have been established to honor the five Huskies we lost on February 14, 2008.

President John G. Peters has released several special messages to the campus community related to the tragedy at NIU.
Office of Support & Advocacy
The Office of Support & Advocacy serves as a centralized resource for all students, faculty and staff who were in Cole Hall at the time of the tragedy.
