E-Board The Executive Board
Prism does not happen on its own. The E-Board is full of people you will see around the group. They help plan events, raise awareness, manage Prism's funds, and more.
How can I get involved?
E-Board elections take place at the beginning of the fall semester. But you can still get involved in Prism if you're not a member of the E-Board! Keep an eye out for upcoming event postings as Prism; we would always love to have a few extra hands! You can also come visit an open E-Board planning session. These meetings generally take place on Mondays at 9:00 PM at the LGBT Resource Center (Holmes Student Center, Room 706). You may wish to contact us beforehand to confirm that we are planning to meet at this particular time and place.

I am originally from New Jersey. I like cars, clothes, and smoothies. I love spending time with friends and family. As re-elected President, I will make sure Prism is a fun and all-inclusive organization for everyone and that we are constantly improving in all that we do.
Mike Theodore Treasurer

Why hello there! I've been at NIU for over two years now and am in my second year as Treasurer. I'm active with the SA Senate, NIU Young Americans for Liberty, and of course Prism. I like helping others personally and through my activism, which is why I'm involved. I like Star Wars, food, sleeping, an occasional beverage, and maybe a little more food. As Treasurer, I hope to best utilize our finances to make us a more visible presence on campus.
Clair NcNamara Events Committee Chair
events@niuprism.comEnglish; Minor in Journalism
I am originally from Iowa, attended school for three years in Wisconsin, and then transferred to NIU this year for my senior year. I love to keep myself busy with work, school, family, and friends. I also love meeting new people! As the Event Committee Chair, I will bring fun, inclusive, and educational activities to Prism. Hope to see you there!
Ben Stone Publicity Committee Chair
publicity@niuprism.comEnvironmental Studies with an emphasis in Biodiversity and Environmental Restoration
Thanks for visiting our website! I'm a sophomore at NIU, and I've lived in the DeKalb area for almost half of my life—therefore, I'm commonly referred to as a "townie" among the NIU crowd. I absolutely love listening to music while cleaning and enjoying free time with friends. As Publicity Committee Chair, I will be sure the Northern Illinois University community stays in-the-know about Prism's Community Gatherings and events by using my connections with the community at large to spread the word about our wonderful organization!
Romeo Jackson Community Liaison/Outreach Coordinator
community@niuprism.comTheatre Technology and Design, Emphasis in Stage Management; Community Leadership and Civic Engagement, Emphasis in Advocacy
My favorite color is purple and I am in love with Beyonce (but who isn't)! I also serve on the Presidential Commission on Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity as a student representative and I am employed by the LGBT Resource Center. As Community Liaison and Outreach Coordinator, I will ensure that the voice of community is always heard.
Kyle Urbashich Pride Letter Editor
editor@niuprism.comBusiness Administration
I'm a junior who loves to write, loves music, and loves his friends. I'm a people person and I love dedicating my time to worthwhile causes (like Prism). As Pride Letter Editor, I will widen the voice and broaden the visibility of the NIU LGBTQA community.
Curt Grimes Webmaster
webmaster@niuprism.comComputer Science
I am a senior here at NIU. I like Sonic the Hedgehog, board games, chocolate covered bananas, nap time, fresh linens, and of course, making websites. As Webmaster, I will keep Prism's website updated, colorful, and exciting.
Miles Faciane Historian
historian@niuprism.comTheoretical Computer Science and Applied Mathematics; Minor: Spanish
I'm from New Orleans, but I've traveled a bit in my time, following wherever my heart took me. I love learning about new cultures, especially about the different foods they eat and their customs. As Historian, I will provide an easy way for those who come behind us to look back and see who we were and what we did to pave their way.
