In addition to Prism, NIU has a number of LGBTQA resources available to the community.

LGBT Resource Center

NIU's Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Resource Center serves as a vital link where LGBTQ individuals can find a sense of community and everyone can learn about LGBTQ identity and culture.

LGBT Studies Program

LGBT Studies is an interdisciplinary program which fosters research and teaching related to sexual orientation and gender identity. Students may earn a Certificate in LGBT Studies at the undergraduate or graduate levels.
