Resources for Prospective Students
The NIU College of Law Office of Admissions & Financial Aid invites you to explore your options at NIU College of Law. Our mission is to help you attain your goal of an affordable, quality legal education.
The admissions staff assists and counsels prospective students not only on the particulars of the admissions process, but also on scholarships, loans, residency requirements, and housing. In addition to the full-time staff, the NIU College of Law Office of Admissions & Financial Aid has current law students serving as graduate assistants. They are available to speak with prospective students about student life and about the rigors and excitement of law school. We hope you enjoy your visit to our website, and we hope to see you on campus!
Beginning Monday, February 11, 2013, NIU Law will waive the application fee for those students applying to start the first year of the J.D. program in Fall 2013. The application fee for NIU Law is normally $50. As you complete your application to NIU Law via the Law School Admission Council's website, the NIU Law application fee will be automatically waived.
