ITS Hosted Virtual Server changes the way customers purchase and maintain ITS servers. ITS Hosted Virtual Servers use virtualization technologies to run multiple servers on a large host server and multiple host servers interconnected in a clustered environment to provide a level of redundancy and service protection unparalleled in today’s environment.

Faster Availability at a Lower Cost

Because ITS is providing the Hosted Virtual Server environment, a customer is free from needing to purchase a server and waiting up to six weeks to receive and install it. The implementation time of an ITS Hosted Virtual Server is approximately one week. Another notable benefit is the cost savings in bringing a hosted server online; not having to spend capital on a physical server saves an average of $3,000 instantly.

Perpetual or Temporary Services - You Choose

Whether you need a server for 1 month or 10 years, an ITS Hosted Virtual Server can be as short-lived or permanent as your service requires. ITS will maintain the hosting environment without any additional capital from its customers outside of the monthly fee.     • All virtual servers will have 1Gb+ network bandwidth.
  • Built in Failover and Redundancy
    • Your server is on a clustered host that will failover to another host or another cluster should a hardware problem arise. Furthermore, the storage and network is routed redundantly thus avoiding a single point of failure.
  • Protection
    • All virtual servers are on a firewall protected network.
  • Dynamically customizable resources (Disk, RAM, CPU)
    • The resources on your server can be dynamically adjusted to deal with spikes in demand or expansion needs (Disk expansions, RAM upgrades/downgrades, CPU additions).

Unlimited Flexibility at an Entry Level Price

The cost of purchasing a new server is replaced with a $500 setup fee. Physical server prices start at around $3,500 and can go as high as $10,000 depending on configuration. The new setup fee is $500 regardless of configuration.

The monthly maintenance fee for the base configuration is $300 and provides:

  • a 1GB network connection
  • backups
  • OS install/maintenance
  • patching
  • anti-virus protection
  • monitoring, and consulting

The base configuration which is suitable for 90% of our cases, but if the base configuration is not enough we can dynamically increase resources and adjust the fee based on those additional resources. You pay for what you need. See Virtual server configurations and rates.
