Children needed for autism research study at NIU!

If you would like to participate in a research study exploring how children with and without autism learn to say new words, please contact:

  • We are looking for children ages of 3 and 12 years with autism spectrum disorder and typical language development.
  • Children must be native speakers of English and primarily use verbal communication.
  • Parents will be compensated $10/hour and children will receive a toy for each session.
  • Entire study takes between 2 or 3 sessions, and each session lasts approximately one hour.

Our research lab is located in the NIU Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic at 3100 Sycamore Road, DeKalb, IL 60115.
