Our faculty excel as researchers and teachers. We have published books and articles with the world's top presses and academic journals. Our research has been supported by prestigious external funding agencies, and many faculty have won prizes for their publications. We are also involved in numerous projects that bring historical knowledge and insight to the wider world.

  • Professor Eric Jones hosts a podcast on Southeast Asian history and culture.
  • Professors Beatrix Hoffman and Stanley Arnold help journalists put current events like the COVID-19 pandemic and Black Lives Matter protests in context.
