The Green Night Out is a community celebration throughout downtown DeKalb. Join us for a fun-filled night of eating, shopping, and sharing ideas for going green.

Here's how it works--

  • Check in at the Egyptian Theater or Eduardos to get your Green Card - a map to the night's activities and specials.
  • Explore downtown and get your Green Card stamped at participating businesses while you hear mini talks about environmental issues, and get great deals on everything from manicures to candy.
  • Enter our raffle by returning your Green Card to the Egyptian Theater. At 8 p.m., we'll give away fabulous prizes.

  • Tapa La Luna – Mini Talks on Sustainable Restaurant Practices, Green Drink Specials ($3 for Irish Recycling Bins)
  • Small Town Skate Shop – Environmental art exhibit, Mini Talks on long-boarding for the environment, sale
  • Helen’s Hair Design - Free eyebrow waxing or shellac manicure
  • Eduardo's – Mini talks on vermicomposting, gardening with native plants, and more!
  • O’Leary’s – Green drink specials ($3.50 for Green Hornets & Emerald Isles)
  • Confectionary – Candy specials and extended hours until 8pm
  • Gallery 215Mesh, an art exhibition by Anna Miller
  • Ellwood House Museum – Anthrotropism, an art exhibition by Agnes Ma
