Through our peer educator group, course presentations, workshops and additional resources, we strive to give the NIU community, as well as local communities, a better understanding of important financial decisions that will impact their lives before college, during college and well beyond their college careers.

Financial Cents is partnering with the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago’s Money Smart Week to present financial information pertinent to a college student’s financial independence. To learn more click here

Spring 2013 Money Smart Week
Make your own coffee: Spending $2.50-$3.50 on a cup of coffee a day adds up to over $500 a year. That means over a 4 year college career you will have spent over $2,000 on coffee.
