ACG To Do List:
- Complete the FAFSA by March 1 (priority filing date).
- NIU's School Code is 001737
- FAFSA on the web will predetermine if you are eligible to answer the ACG questions
- Check your NIU e-mail account for messages from the NIU Student Financial Aid Office.
- Check your MyNIU account for awarding to be applied to your Bursar account.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for an ACG Grant, the student must be:
- A U.S. Citizen
- Federal Pell Grant eligible
- Enrolled full-time as an undergraduate student
- At least a 3.0 GPA
Grant Funds
- For first-year students: $750
- For second-year students: $1,300
