Joshua Johnson (instructor, printmaking) received his undergraduate degree at the University of Iowa where he studied printmaking and drawing. He gained teaching experience teaching life drawing workshops. After receiving his bachelor's degree of fine arts, he was asked to become a course assistant at the University of Iowa under printmaking faculty member Virginia Myers. During the summer sessions, he co-taught a two-week intensive printmaking workshop with Professor Myers. As a graduate assistant at NIU, he has served as a foundations assistant, instructor of record for a foundations class, Drawing 100, and a teaching assistant for Professor Michael Barnes’s Introduction to Printmaking course.
