Dance Camp and Theatre Arts Camp Senior are July 13 - 18. Visual Arts Camp, NIU Jazz Camp, and Theatre Arts Camp Junior are July 20 - 25.

CSA CONCERTO COMPETITION - This year's competition winner is 14-year old Karisa Chiu, winner of the 2013-2014 CSA Concerto Competition! She will perform Concerto No. 1 in D Major, Mvt. 1, by Prokofiev, with the CSA Sinfonia on March 5. Karisa attends Fremd High School and is a violin student of Almita Vamos. All the auditions were wonderful; it was a great competition this year!
TALENT SCHOLARSHIP AUDITIONS - Congratulations to the 2014 Talent Scholarship winners: Reilly Farrell (piano), Karl Peterson (guitar), Joon Park (violin), Kjelden Breidenbach (cello), Madeline Alvendia (viola), and Emma Olson (piano). Hear them perform at the Honors Recital on February 15 at 1:30 p.m.

SINFONIA REUNION CONCERT - DECEMBER 22: All current and alumni members of CSA Sinfonia are invited to perform in a reunion concert to celebrate the community school's 25th annivesary. Music will be made available during the fall semester. The rehearsals are in the Concert Hall on December 21 at 3 p.m. and on December 22 at 12:30 p.m. The concert is December 22 at 3 p.m.
The community school has received a third grant from the National Endowment for the Arts! The $10,000 award is for the NEA's Arts Education in American Communities Initiative and will be used to support and enhance activities planned in 2013 and 2014. More information about the three activities that have been funded by this year's grant is available.
