My leadership roles at NIU are: President of Mortar Board Senior Honors Society, President of the NIU Actuarial Club, President of the Honors Student Association, Junior Advisor to the Lambda Sigma Sophomore Honors Society, and the Douglas Hall Council Treasurer. My extra curricular activities are Mortar Board for the Senior Honors Society, Actuarial Club, Honors Student Association, Intramural Basketball, Intramural Football, the Residence Hall Association, and Math Club. A few of my campus related interests are welcoming new students to campus. One way I do this is by acting as a counselor at the Honors Program Freshmen Retreat.
An academic goal I have is to receive my degree in Actuarial Science and a Minor in Finance and Computer Science with a 4.0 for my Senior year. A career goal I have is to work as an Acutary after I graduate in May 2014, and the earn my Actuarial Certification within the following four to five years.
Scholarships I have received include: The Outstanding Junior Award, NIU Mortar Board Senior Honors Society Scholarship, Northern Illinois Alumni Association Merit Scholarship, Allstate Actuarial Scholarship, NIU Division of Statistics Scholarship, Lambda Sigma National Scholarship, ARAMARK National Scholarship, ARAMARK Food Services Academic Finalist Scholarship, NIU Centennial Scholarship, and the University Honors Program New Student Scholarship.
My hobbies include anything sports related, I love watching, playing, gaming, and other sports related activities. I also love any mind challening puzzles and movies that make me think.
