We are committed to promoting excellence and engagement in teaching and learning, research and scholarship, creativity and artistry and outreach and service. We are excited to host the first Engaged Learning, Teaching and Scholarship conference at NIU, with the goal of sharing best practices and celebrating the many ways that faculty and staff collaborate with regional partners and engage students using high-impact pedagogies and experiences.
This conference is free and open to the entire NIU community, including faculty, staff, students, alumni and community members. Registration includes materials, continental breakfast and lunch.
Call for Proposals
The call for proposals is now closed. Proposals are being reviewed and presenters will be notified February 2, 2018.
The Engaged Learning, Teaching and Scholarship Conference is being coordinated in collaboration with the Office of Student Engagement and Experiential Learning, Division of Outreach, Engagement and Regional Development, Faculty Development and Instructional Design Center, College of Business: Experiential Learning Center and College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
