Approximately 10:30 p.m., Tuesday evening an armed robbery occurred in the 800 block of Russell Road. An NIU student reported to City of DeKalb police that he was approached by two male subjects who displayed a handgun and demanded the victim’s wallet and mobile phone. The victim complied with the suspects’ demands, and suspects exited the scene in an unknown direction. The victim did not report to police any injuries in the attack. |

The offenders are described as two African-American males. Suspect 1 was as described as being 5-10 in height and wearing a black hoodie. Suspect 2 was described as being approximately 6-0 in height, wearing a grey hoodie. |
