About the College

With 18 departments, 33 baccalaureate degree programs, and more than 5,900 undergraduate students, the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences is the largest of NIU's six undergraduate colleges. We offer 31 graduate programs including 11 at the doctoral level for over 1,000 master's and doctoral students.

We're home to seven research centers, and five interdisciplinary research and teaching programs:
