Meet the Cadets

Cadet Lieutenant Colonel Bradley Wilson 

Battalion Commander
Cadet Wilson is a Public/Rhetorical Communication Major from Romeoville, IL.  He will commission in May 2013 as an Active Duty Military Intelligence Officer. In his spare time Cadet Wilson enjoys staying in tune with foreign affairs and engaging in political debates.

Cadet Command Sergeant Major Konrad Kalita

Battalion Command Sergeant Major
CDT Kalita is a senior majoring in Business. He is originally from Hanover Park, IL and plans to graduate in December 2013. He is also in the Illinois National Guard, serving as a Simultaneous Membership Program Cadet with an artillery battery in Sycamore, IL. 

Cadet Major Derek Ma

Battalion XO
Cadet Derek Ma is a Nursing major from Bartlett, IL. He will commission as an Active Duty Nurse in May 2013.  Cadet Ma enjoys working out, playing the piano/guitar, and motorcycling in his spare time.

Cadet Captain Christian Maranan

Battalion S2
CDT Maranan is a senior majoring in Public Health. He is originally from Streamwood, IL and plans to graduate in May 2014.  Cadet Maranan represents the Department of Military Science on the College of Health and Human Sciences Student Advisory Committee.

Cadet Major Edward Tolle

Battalion S3
Cadet Tolle is originally from Barrington, IL and will graduate in May 2013 with a degree in Geography.  He will then serve in the United States Army Reserves as an Engineer officer. 

Cadet Captain Rafael Salgado

Battalion S1
Cadet Salgado is a senior Engineering major and plans to graduate in December 2013.  He will then commission and serve as an Infantry officer in the Indiana National Guard.  Cadet Salgado completed Cadet Troop Leadership Training at Fort Stewart, GA this past summer.

Cadet Captain Thomas Kneifel

Battalion S4
Cadet Thomas Kneifel is a senior Marketing major and plans to graduate in December 2013.  He is also a member of the Illinois National Guard and is originally from Oak Forest, IL.  He published an ebook on Amazon titled "40 Ways to Have More Fun and Freedom in College".

Cadet Captain Eric Hall

Battalion S5
Cadet Eric Hall is an Industrial Management and Technology major from Cary, IL. When he commissions in December 2013 he hopes to earn an Active Duty slot in the Field Artillery branch. After he leaves the service he wants to start a career as an Industrial Engineer with the Performance Automotive industry. Cadet Hall is also a National Guard Simultaneous Membership Program participant with Alpha Battery of  the 2-122 Field Artillery located in Sycamore, IL. He enjoys riding Motocross, working on/driving his Mustang, and cruising on his sport bike.

Cadet Captain Taylor Hartsough

Battalion S6
Cadet Hartsough is from Hoffman Estates, IL and a senior majoring in Kiniseology.  He is a certified Tough Mudder.
