Structuring a Portfolio
A Blackboard Portfolio consists of pages and sections. Pages provide the overall structure for the portfolio and are the individual links that form the menu or table of contents for your Portfolio. Every Portfolio must have at least 1 Page.
Every Portfolio page must also have at least one section. Sections are where you build the content of the Portfolio, including artifacts, descriptions, reflections, images, and other media.
Note: Depending on the use of your portfolio, your instructor or department may have a specific structure they want you to follow. They may have created a template, which you should select when you create your portfolio. Ask your instructor or portfolio supervisor if you have any questions.
