The ReFuGE Project

Restoring Function in Grassland Ecosystems

The ReFuGE project seeks to understand how management activities in restored grasslands drive the assembly of plant and consumer communities, and how this influences ecosystem functions and ecosystem services.

Research focuses on several organismal groups of functional importance, including plants, insect herbivores, small mammals, and dung-associated arthropods.

The ReFuGE project is supported by a grant from The National Science Foundation (NSF-DEB 1647502).
