NIU Women’s Rights Alliance presents ‘Vagina Monologues’
DeKalb, Ill. — The NIU Women’s Rights Alliance will sponsor two upcoming performances of Eve Ensler’s “The Vagina Monologues.”
The performances will be held at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 19, and at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, April 20, in the Barsema Hall Auditorium.
The events aim to raise awareness of domestic violence issues. Ten percent of ticket sales will benefit Eve Ensler’s anti-violence campaigns, and 90 percent of ticket sales will go to Safe Passage Inc., an organization that provides services to victims of domestic and sexual violence in DeKalb County.
